When setting up Point and Print in a Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows 7 environment, ensure that

it supports Package Awareness.

5-5. Web Point and Print

5-5-1. Configuration of the Web Point and Print Server

Install a local print queue on the Point and Print server:

1. Open Administrator Tools.

2. Click Server Manager.

3. Select the “Add roles” checkbox.

4. Select the “Print and Document Services” and “Web Server (IIS)” checkboxes, and then

click Next.

NOTE: This explanation assumes that Windows Server 2008 is being used.
