By default, our universal driver will automatically establish bidirectional communication with the

connected device. This allows the driver to automatically determine which options have been installed

and which UI to display to users.

NOTE:

 Bidirectional communication in the user privileges environment has been eliminated as of

Printer Driver for Universal Print v4.0.0.0 because it led to incompatibilities with the operating

system.

 Because of this, the “Update Now” button is grayed so that users cannot switch the current

model.
