Storage Period

Retains backup files for seven days.

Open Backup Folder

Collects or deletes stored backup files.

When collecting backup files, insert only one USB memory device.

Restoring the Defaults

Touch , the Restore Defaults icon, and restart the system to reset the changed system settings to their

initial values.

When a confirmation message appears, touch [OK] to initialize the system.

The following settings are reset to the initial values:

• SMTP server settings (page 61 "Configuring SMTP Server Settings")

• Address book (page 62 "Adding an Address Book")

• Remote contact list (page 61 "Adding a Remote Contact List")

• Remote license (page 60 "Adding Your Remote License")

• Backup file settings (page 64 "Collecting Backup Files")

• USB memory device settings (page 68 "Removing a USB Memory Device")

Exporting Configuration Settings

• Do not remove a USB memory device while exporting a configuration file.

• Do not edit an exported configuration file. If an edited configuration file is imported, the system will

not work correctly.

• Do not change the file name of an exported configuration file. A configuration file whose name has

been changed cannot be imported.

You can export the settings configured in Administrator Settings to USB memory by using , the Export

Device Configuration icon.

1. Touch , the Export Device Configuration icon.

A confirmation message appears.

2. Insert a USB memory device into a USB port on one side of the display.

Insert only one USB memory device.
